Canadian Blood Services Town Hall Meeting

Location: Toronto General Hospital, 200 Elizabeth St, Toronto from 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Canadian Blood Services will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on June 14 to provide an opportunity for patients and their families to hear firsthand about the recommended changes to the MSM deferral policy and the rationale behind the changes. They will share evidence that would support a reduction of the deferral timeline while not posing any additional risk to patients. They will also share advancements in screening and other countries’ experiences with a 1 year deferral.
